Glendale, Arizona -

Blueprint Education, a nonprofit educational organization is throwing down the gauntlet on a t-shirt challenge to any organization who wants to follow suit to benefit the homeless children of Project Hawai’i.

Project Hawai’i enhances the lives of poverty stricken and homeless children by providing a well rounded educational, athletic and nutritious summer program on the islands of Hawai’i. This nonprofit organization is solely supported by the public support which allows summer camps to remain free of charge to our keiki (children). The camp is designed to allow our keiki (4 – 7 years of age) to grow in an educational and safe environment while opening their world up to new adventures, teaching life skills and preparing them for their future.

“It’s always about the connections you make and the networks you nurture,” states Marmy Kodras, Communications Director at Blueprint. “A couple of weeks ago Blueprint posted a comment on facebook letting our friends know that we had some available t-shirts that we wanted to donate to an organization who really needed them.  How fitting that I would see a posting on the LinkedIn Group called Hawai’I No Ka Oi from Sylvia Dahlby not long after that seeking t-shirts for homeless keiki for their summer camp.  I immediately contacted Sylvia and then Magin Patrick at Project Hawai’i.  About 77 tshirts are on their way to the deserving keiki of Hawai’i and Blueprint couldn’t be happier.  I’m very passionate about anything related to Hawai’i since I was born and raised there so this donation is not only aligned to Blueprint’s mission but it’s also extremely dear to my heart.”

Blueprint Education is challenging any other organizations who can donate their company tshirts for Project Hawai’i to please do so today.  You can send your t-shirts to Magin Patrick, Project Hawai’i, 16-396 Kea’au Loop, Kea’au, Hawaii  96749 or visit their website at projecthawaii.org.
