7TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES SEMESTER 2

Students will learn about American History ranging from the early 1900s through present times with emphasis on Industrialization, World War One, The Great Depression, World War Two, and the Cold War. Students will also examine the impact of the industrialization, nationalism, and imperialism on world events. The topics of government, economics, geography, and world history will be connected in all lessons. In each lesson students will be asked to read the textbook, complete reinforcement activities and textbook assignment, as well as write about history. This will help them prepare for applying social studies concepts on assessments, such as quizzes, midterm and final exams.
