Algebra 2 is the second semester of the first year of algebra in the high school curriculum. Algebra 2 will introduce the topics of exponents, polynomials, quadratic functions, rational expressions, radicals, matrices, and probability. A foundation in basic math (i.e. arithmetic and pre-algebra) and in Algebra 1 is essential for success.
