ART A

This course is designed to give the student ways of looking, living and creating art through discipline-based art education. Discipline art education has four main areas that are covered: art history, aesthetics (the vocabulary for discussing art and a response to it), art criticism (the process of looking, describing, analyzing and judging artwork) and the creation of artwork (the creating of student artwork will include painting, graphic design and sculpture).
