Computer Literacy is an introductory course to computers that will help students understand how personal computers work and what their main parts are. The lessons will teach students how to organize information as well as how to search for, analyze, and present it. Students will make, save, name, and store files in folders. Different kinds of software, i.e., word processing; desktop publishing; databases; spreadsheets; and presentation software will be explored. Students will learn Internet communication and how to use the World Wide Web.
