INDEPENDENT TRAVEL STUDY 1

Independent Travel Study will help a student to recognize differences and similarities among the ways people earn a living, behave, dress, and talk, between one's home area and other areas. The student will also learn about the history, geography, architecture, art, culture, and the customs of the areas visited. Through the final 10 page paper, the student will improve skills of organizing, writing, and editing a paper. Student must submit an itinerary for pre-approval prior to registering for class. Travel/trip should be at least 7 days long to qualify for this course and its ½ credit.
