WORLD GEOGRAPHY 2 BASIC
This is a basic level course and requires counselor approval for enrollment!
This is a one-semester course that continues the study of geography from first semester to investigate our world, its peoples and the land. The student will study the relationships between different countries, continents and the people within each. Included in the course will be a comparison of the people, customs and politics of specific areas of the globe, as well as understanding maps, directions, grids and graphs. Students will understand the location and basic geographic features of continents and major countries within each continent. Areas of continents to be studied are Western Europe, Russia and Eastern Europe, Central and East Asia, Southern and Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania.
