Computer Learning Lab Facilitator

Hope High School Online (a program of Blueprint Education) will be opening computer learning labs in various locations across AZ. In 2011-2012 school year we hope to open 3-5 labs. We will be hiring both Highly Qualified Level 3 para-professionals and teachers for these lab locations. Below are the requirements for the Level 3 para-professionals.
Job Requirements:
- College degree
- Highly qualified para-professional status
- Fingerprint Clearance Card/Documentation
- Teaching experience or work in educational setting preferred
Reports to: Principal
Start Date: On-going
Salary: $18,414-$41,799 for full time, or part time hourly $10-$20 an hour
Duties:
- Provide feedback to encourage student learning and motivation
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods in the individual, group, and online setting
- Communication with students to encourage course completion and success
- Track student attendance in computer lab setting
- Recruit and maintain student enrollment in computer lab setting
- Manage academic and behavioral needs of students
- Attend Individualized Education Plan meetings
- Utilize student information database (RenWeb) and learning management system (Moodle)
- Create and maintain an effective learning lab environment, including daily implementation of rules and procedures
- Collaborate with community volunteers
Needed:
- Ability to work with others on a team
- Self motivation
- Navigation of the Internet
- Basic skills in Microsoft software
- Home computer with Internet connection
