Curriculum designed for innovative education

Curriculum is at the heart and soul of Blueprint Education. Whether it is the alternative education campuses, the charter high schools, or distance learning, Blueprint Education’s commitment is that students learn and succeed. A sound, effective curriculum provides a platform for those learning opportunities and life successes.

Curriculum Design, Standard Alignment, and Curriculum Review Process

Since 1969, Blueprint Education has looked for ways to bring non-traditional learning opportunities to all students, no matter their life situation (training for the Olympics, working on a singing career, homeschooling, traveling the world). Blueprint Education’s curriculum combines the best of traditional academics with flexible delivery methods. Our curriculum is created by educators and experts in the field of study who understand the unique needs of all students. The curriculum follows an extensive design and review process that typically takes 8 to 10 months to complete. The development and review process focuses on standards alignment and effective teaching practices.

We Write Our Own Curriculum to Fit Student Needs

By writing our own curriculum, Blueprint Education provides students with an educational program that best fits their needs. Our curriculum can offer students just the one course they need to complete their school schedule or offer an accredited and comprehensive high school diploma program. The key in today’s changing world is to provide students the flexible options to maintain the pursuit of their academic goals.

Self-Paced Curriculum

Through our curriculum, each student has the opportunity to learn at his or her own pace. We offer a variety of courses, ranging from traditional correspondence learning to Internet-based online distance learning, as well as driver education, and project based experiential learning through our partnerships with therapeutic programs.

Accreditation

Blueprint Education is accredited through The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) and North Central Accreditation (NCA); moreover, our curriculum has been approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
