Glendale, Arizona -
GLENDALE, Ariz. (September 6, 2011) – Blueprint Education, a nonprofit educational organization, is announcing the launch of several new Hope High School Online Learning Labs in Phoenix.
Hope High School Online is a state funded online high school operated by Blueprint Education. Learning Lab locations have been established to specifically help students, especially refugees who are new to this country, successfully transition to an online academic setting. The Learning Labs offer extra teacher support, supplemental English Language Development activities, Internet based coursework, and the flexibility of pursuing their high school diploma while still attending to their real life duties.
”Students enroll in four courses and attend the Learning Labs for at least 20 hours per week,” says Jennifer Blackstone, Principal at Hope High School Online. “The Learning Labs enhance their ability to read and comprehend the subject matter with a live teacher. They also gain support from other students as well. It’s very much a team oriented environment where everyone helps to encourage and push one another.”
Currently there are three Learning Lab locations open for student enrollment, including one at Hope High School on 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, one at the Community Life Center at 2948 West Camelback Road, and at Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship between 9th and 10th Avenue and Peoria.
Blueprint Education programs and courses provide quality standards for sound educational programs established by several accrediting agencies. The NCA and AdvancED accreditation covers Blueprint Education educational courses in all six North American accrediting regions as well as internationally. It is certified as a Distance Education Provider by the State of Arizona.
