Special Education Teacher

Part-time Employment

Job Requirements:
  • Teaching certificate in Special Education
  • Teaching experience
  • Experience with special education paperwork and state reports
 
Reports to:   Lead Principal
 
Start Date: Open
 
Salary: $16,623.00 - $24,935.00
 
Duties:
  • Update and maintain special education paperwork for students
  • Plan and manage Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings with students, parents, teachers, and district representative
  • Plan Vision and Hearing tests at least twice a year for students
  • Administer MET testing for students
  • Complete end of the year reports to schools and district
  • Complete mandated state reports for Special Education
  • Implement Special Education accommodations for students in classroom setting and during AIMS testing
  • Counsel students on progressing toward graduation 
  • Plan state mandated ELL testing for students
  • Travel in Maricopa County may be required

  • Basic skills in Microsoft software
