Connie Jada
Location: Hope High School Online

Professional Background:
After moving to Phoenix, I began working as an ELL instructional assistant in the Pendergast Elementary School District. During that time, I was introduced to Kids at Hope Academy when I was asked to translate for a new student orientation. Later that year, I accepted a position as a paraprofessional for Kids at Hope Academy-Central Campus. I continue to serve as a paraprofessional and lab facilitator now for Hope High School Online, with duties ranging from lesson planning, direct instruction, tutoring, and technical "guru." I’m basically available to help in any way needed on a day-to-day basis.
Personal Life:
I am Palestinian American, born in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. I am the fifth of seven children. My family moved to Palestine when I was 11 years old, and I finished high school while living there. I moved back to the states at the age of 21. I do not have any children, but I do have pet frog, Bert, a birthday gift from a student. Needless to say I love frogs...rib-it, rib-it!
