Irene Armendariz

Program Assistant

Location: Hope High School

Professional Background:
I’ve had the extraordinary opportunity to be part of Blueprint Education for 12 years. In my first year, we had only one classroom that served high school students in the Dysart District. We soon moved our campus to the Central location on 26th Street and Thomas. That was the beginning of the alternative education program for 3rd-8th graders. From there the campus moved to 75th Avenue and Indian School. With each move that was made, I continued to serve as the program assistant. The next two moves included a campus in the Tolleson District followed by a campus located within the Pendergast District. I am currently serving at Hope High School.

Personal Life:
I’m an Arizona native. My husband, Hector, and I have been married for 24 years. He and our three children are my pride and joy. Jessica is 23 years old and a senior at ASU. Amanda is 19 years old and a sophomore at Estrella Community College. Hector is 18 and a senior at Peoria High School.

What draws you to Blueprint Education?
After being with Blueprint Education for over 12 years, the one thing that remains consistent from year to year is the company's concern for students’ well being. No matter where the campus is located, or what students we are serving, the vision of meeting students’ needs has never wavered. It has been a privilege to work for such a great company!
