Jessica Siano
Location: Hope High School Online
Professional Background:
I graduated college with an MA in Math Education in 2004, and ever since I have been teaching high school math and computer science. I originally taught at a very prestigious public school in the suburbs of New York City until a year ago when I moved down to Arizona. This school year I will be teaching math for the Tolleson Union School District as well as Blueprint Education.
Personal Life:
In my (very little) free time I enjoy lounging around the house with my two cats or going for walks and hikes with my two dogs. I also enjoy going to movies and concerts with my friends.
Quote You Live By:
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost." ~J.R.R. Tolkein
What draws you to Blueprint Education?
I am drawn to Blueprint for the opportunity to teach what I feel like is the wave of the future. I enjoy being a part of something new and exciting and I am looking forward to seeing how teaching online differs from (and what it has in common with) teaching in a traditional classroom.
