Repeat Until Obsolete

Humans Tend To Be Creatures of Habit

Yes, the old adage we are all too familiar with “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” doesn’t fare well when it comes to innovation and creativity. Humans tend to be creatures of habit and doing things the way we’ve always done it helps to provide a very predictable measure for efficiency and cadence. It allows for someone to essentially turn on “auto-pilot” because the “steps” in whatever process being implemented are rooted in memorization, repetition and historical routine.

Think About Advancements

Now think about all of the wonderfully unheard, unimaginable ideas and advancements that we’ve made as a society just over the last 20 – 30 years. These incredible innovations could have never taken place if these individuals defaulted to doing the same exact things, as they’ve always been done, day after day, month after month, year after year. Regardless of whether or not, things were working at the time.

Let’s See What Happens

Creativity is not sparked by continuous waves of mediocrity or highly planned calculation. It is generated by the unknown, undiscovered, and unfiltered brainstorms that ask such questions and statements like, “Why can’t we do it another way?” or “Let’s flip this on its head and see what happens.” or even “Let’s get ready to fail forward and fail fast.”

What If?

Repeating things just for the sake of repeating them can and will inevitably lead to obsolescence. So be a “Game-Changing Person” for yourself by asking a simple question…” What if?”

If that question, “What if?” leads you to want to do something about your educational needs, we recommend Blueprint Education as your option for an accredited, free Arizona brick and mortar (Hope High School) or an Arizona online high school (Hope High School Online), give us a call at 602.674.5555.
