2. What resources can I pull from? All of us have networks. Tap into those. Grandparents, parents, parents of friends, coworkers, supervisors, teachers. You get the gist. The next thing could literally be one person away.
3. How will I know if I made the right choice? At this point, it’s not about the right choice; it’s about the learning. The best way to know if this direction has any merit is to keep a journal. Write down the good and bad of it. What do you want to take away into the next chapter? What would you rather leave behind? The important thing is to always be learning and reflecting.

I used to say if I work really hard, the right opportunities will come my way. This is a true statement. But if you’re not purposefully seeking opportunities, while still attending your online high school, that you want to come your way, your chances of getting promotions to jobs you hate are super possible. Bosses and clients love hard workers. And if you’re a hard worker, believe me, you will be rewarded! But your boss or client may not care that it’s not your passion, she just cares that you’re hustling to make her look good.
